Unshakable In Every Season
From Today’s One Year Bible Reading Plan at BibleInAYearOnline.com
Those who trust in the Lord are as secure as Mount Zion; they will not be defeated but will endure forever. Psalm 125:1 (NLT)
There is something steadying about knowing you do not have to hold everything together. Life shifts. People change. Plans fall apart. But God remains. And when your trust is anchored in Him, you are more secure than you feel.
Psalm 125 paints this picture so clearly. Those who trust in the Lord are not just surviving. They are secure. They are rooted. They are unshakable like a mountain that does not move with the wind. That kind of stability does not come from perfect circumstances. It comes from a faithful God.
You may not always feel strong. You may have questions or moments of weakness. But your security is not in how steady you are. It is in how steady He is. Trusting God is not about pretending everything is okay, it’s about believing He is with you even when it’s not.
And here is the good news. His presence is not seasonal. His promises do not expire. His love does not shift based on your mood or mistakes. If you are standing with Him, you are standing on solid ground.
Maybe today feels uncertain. Maybe something has left you shaken. But God has not changed. He has not moved. He is surrounding you, holding you, keeping you through it all.
You are more secure than you know because the One holding you is unshakable.
Reflection Question: Where do you need to remind your heart that your security is in God, not in your circumstances?
Prayer: Father, thank You for being our steady place. When life feels shaky, You are our anchor. Help us trust You more deeply and lean into the truth that we are secure in You. Thank You for holding us through every season. In Jesus’ name, amen.
