More Than Enough

From Today’s One Year Bible Reading Plan at BibleInAYearOnline.com

With his own blood, not the blood of goats and calves, he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever. - Hebrews 9:12 (NLT)

There is something so powerful about those words “once for all time.” It means Jesus does not have to keep going back to pay for our mistakes over and over again. It means He did it right the first time. It means what He did is more than enough for every moment you have felt unworthy, every failure, every broken promise, and every time you have doubted.

Hebrews 9 paints a beautiful picture of a Savior who willingly entered the most sacred place bringing not an animal sacrifice, but His own life as the ultimate offering. He stepped in on our behalf with full confidence and full love. No hesitation. No holding back. And because of that bold move we have access to a forever kind of redemption. Not temporary, not partial, but complete.

Psalm 107 echoes the theme of God’s relentless love. Again and again, it says, “Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done.” It speaks of people in trouble calling out to God, and God showing up with deliverance. That is who He is. He shows up. He does not quit. He does not stop loving.

Proverbs 27:11 says, “Be wise and make my heart glad.” When we walk in the truth of what Jesus has already done, we are living in wisdom. We are making His heart glad not by earning anything but by receiving what He already gave us.

Reflection Question: What would it look like for you to live today as if your redemption has already been fully secured once and for all?

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for giving Your life so we could be fully and forever redeemed. Help us walk in that truth with confidence, peace, and gratitude. Teach us to rest in Your finished work and to live as those who have been set free. In Jesus’ name, amen.
