Keep Walking Anyway
From Todayâs One Year Bible Reading Plan at BibleInAYearOnline.com
It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the kingâs anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible. - Hebrews 11:27 (NLT)
You know that moment when you feel God nudging you forward, but everything in you wants to stay right where itâs comfortable? Thatâs where faith gets real. Moses didnât have everything figured out. He didnât wait until the coast was clear or the details made sense. He just moved forward, with faith, not fear, because his focus was locked on God.
Faith doesnât always look like confidence. Sometimes itâs just taking the next step with shaky hands, trusting that God sees what you canât. Moses left everything familiar behind.
He didnât let the fear of Pharaoh stop him. And he didnât need a spotlight on the path, he just needed to keep his eyes on the One who never left him.
That same God is with you. Maybe youâre walking through a situation right now that feels uncertain or even a little overwhelming. Youâre not failing if youâre scared. Youâre not weak if you need grace every single step. Faith isnât about pretending to be fearless, itâs about choosing to trust even when you are.
Keep going. Even if itâs slow. Even if you donât have all the answers. If God is leading, then youâre exactly where you need to be.
Reflection Question: What area of your life is calling for quiet, steady faith, the kind that walks forward without all the answers?
Prayer: Jesus, thank You for leading me even when I canât see the full picture. Help me to keep my eyes on You, not on what scares me. Strengthen my faith and remind me that Youâre always with me. I choose to trust You today. In Jesusâ name, amen.
