Keep Walking Anyway

From Today’s One Year Bible Reading Plan at BibleInAYearOnline.com

It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible. - Hebrews 11:27 (NLT)

You know that moment when you feel God nudging you forward, but everything in you wants to stay right where it’s comfortable? That’s where faith gets real. Moses didn’t have everything figured out. He didn’t wait until the coast was clear or the details made sense. He just moved forward, with faith, not fear, because his focus was locked on God.

Faith doesn’t always look like confidence. Sometimes it’s just taking the next step with shaky hands, trusting that God sees what you can’t. Moses left everything familiar behind.

He didn’t let the fear of Pharaoh stop him. And he didn’t need a spotlight on the path, he just needed to keep his eyes on the One who never left him.

That same God is with you. Maybe you’re walking through a situation right now that feels uncertain or even a little overwhelming. You’re not failing if you’re scared. You’re not weak if you need grace every single step. Faith isn’t about pretending to be fearless, it’s about choosing to trust even when you are.

Keep going. Even if it’s slow. Even if you don’t have all the answers. If God is leading, then you’re exactly where you need to be.

Reflection Question: What area of your life is calling for quiet, steady faith, the kind that walks forward without all the answers?

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for leading me even when I can’t see the full picture. Help me to keep my eyes on You, not on what scares me. Strengthen my faith and remind me that You’re always with me. I choose to trust You today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
