Guaranteed Harvest

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” - Galatians 6:9 NLT

I have a deep respect for farmers. Think about it. Most of them only get one payday a year. They spend the spring planting, the summer tending, and the fall hoping their efforts pay off. And here is the catch. They plant not knowing what the weather will do or how the market will turn out. They take a step of faith with every seed they drop in the ground.

Now imagine offering a farmer a deal. A harvest every year. Full crops. No risk. No guesswork. That would sound unbelievable. Because in farming, there are no guarantees. But in the kingdom of God, there is.

Paul reminds us in Galatians that when we live by the Spirit and continue doing good, there is a promise attached. A guaranteed harvest. We may not see the results right away. It may take time. But at the right time, God promises we will see the blessing. That is not wishful thinking. That is His word.

Some days it may feel like our efforts don’t matter. Maybe you are loving someone who is hard to love. Maybe you are serving quietly without recognition. Maybe you are staying faithful when no one sees. But God sees. And every seed sown in love, in faith, in obedience, is growing.

So keep planting. Keep believing. Keep doing good. The harvest is coming. Not maybe. Not possibly. It is guaranteed.

Reflection Question: Where in your life do you need to be reminded today that your faithful planting will lead to a harvest?

Prayer: Father, thank You for the promise of a harvest. Help me not to grow weary when I cannot yet see the results. Strengthen my heart to keep planting good seeds and remind me that in You, nothing is wasted. I trust Your timing and Your faithfulness. In Jesus name, amen.
