A Life That Speaks
“But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus, the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.” - Acts 20:24 (NLT)
Some words are powerful, but a life lived with purpose speaks louder than anything you can say. Paul wasn’t speaking in theory, he had lived this message. Through trials and victories, through joy and suffering, he gave everything to the mission Jesus gave him: to share the Good News of God’s grace.
And Paul speaks with clarity here. Not from pride, not from burnout, but from purpose. He understood what mattered most wasn’t comfort, or recognition, or even safety. It was obedience. Faithfulness. The joy of knowing he gave his life to something eternal.
The truth is, each of us has a part in God’s story. Whether we’re leading thousands or loving our neighbor, raising kids or showing up at work every day, our lives can preach the Gospel louder than any sermon.
And the best part? We don’t have to strive. Just stay close to Jesus. Say yes to what’s in front of you. He’ll use your life in ways you may never fully see, but eternity will.
