He Never Changes
From Today’s One Year Bible Reading Plan at BibleInAYearOnline.com
Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe. - Hebrews 1:1-2 (NLT)
There is something steadying about knowing that God has always been speaking. From the very beginning of time until now, He has never stopped reaching out. He spoke through prophets. He spoke through creation. And then, He spoke through His Son. Jesus is the clearest picture of what God is like. If you have ever wondered who God is, look at Jesus. His heart. His kindness. His strength. His grace.
The same God who breathed stars into the sky is the same God who walked dusty roads to reach people who felt forgotten. He sat with the broken. He healed the hurting. He forgave the undeserving. That is the God who is still speaking into your life today.
Sometimes life feels noisy. Our thoughts race. Our days are packed. Our hearts grow tired. But here is the quiet truth that brings peace: Jesus is still the voice that cuts through the chaos. He is still the same yesterday, today, and forever. His love is not shifting. His mercy does not run dry. His grace is not earned. It is freely given.
You may feel like your story is full of unknowns right now. But Jesus remains the same. He is the foundation you can build your life on. He is the Word that brings clarity. The Light that brings hope. The Voice that brings peace.
So take a moment today and let that truth settle into your heart. God has not changed. And He is still speaking.
Reflection Question: What part of your life needs to rest in the unchanging truth of who Jesus is today?
Prayer: Jesus, thank You for being the same through every season. Thank You for being my steady place in an ever-changing world. Help me listen for Your voice and lean into Your grace. I trust that You are still speaking and that Your love for me will never change. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
