Grace Speaks Louder
From Today’s One Year Bible Reading Plan at BibleInAYearOnline.com
Even if we feel guilty, God is greater than our feelings, and he knows everything. - 1 John 3:20 (NLT)
Some days your heart tries to tell you that you are not enough. That you should be further along by now. That if people really knew your thoughts or struggles, they might walk away. And maybe you try to push through with a smile or keep yourself busy, so you don’t have to sit with the weight of it.
But here is the grace-filled truth: God is not swayed by your emotions. He is greater than your guilt. He is greater than your doubts. He is greater than the voice that tells you you have to earn His love.
He knows everything. That means He knows the things you are proud of and the things you wish you could undo. He knows what you meant to say but didn’t. He knows where you are growing even if it feels slow.
And still, He loves you. Still, He calls you His own. Still, He moves toward you with compassion, not condemnation.
Your feelings are real, but they are not always true. Guilt might try to sit on the throne of your heart, but only Jesus belongs there. He brings peace where shame tries to settle. He brings clarity where confusion tries to rule. He brings grace that grounds you even when the world around you feels shaky.
So take a breath. Rest in the kindness of a God who sees the full story and never walks away. You are held. You are known. You are safe in His love.
Reflection Question: Where have your emotions been louder than God’s truth in your life lately?
Prayer: Father, thank You that You are greater than my feelings. Thank You for knowing everything about me and still choosing me. Help me to rest in Your love and believe what You say about me over what my emotions try to tell me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
